The week has a shape
The difficulty follows the day rather than being random, so you always know roughly what you are sitting down to.
- Sunday and Monday are Gentle, which needs scanning and nothing more.
- Tuesday and Wednesday are Steady, which wants locked candidates.
- Thursday and Friday are Tricky, which brings hidden pairs and triples.
- Saturday is Devious, which needs wings and fish.
Each one is graded by the hardest technique it genuinely requires, and every puzzle is checked before anyone sees it: exactly one solution, reachable by reasoning alone. Every past day is still there
Miss a Tuesday and you can still go back for it. Each daily is built from its own date rather than stored somewhere, so any day since the game launched rebuilds exactly as it was, and finishing a late one still counts toward your streak. Your streak, your times and which days you have finished are kept in your own browser and nowhere else. There is no account and no sync, which also means clearing site data clears them.
